If you want to sell your World of Warcraft account, here is what you need to do. Hundreds of accounts go up for auction on eBay each week, so don’t feel so alone. Auctions are cancelled using VeRO policy, as blizzards are creating havoc with small sellers lately. It’s a total mystery why Blizzard would want to employ anyone to target specific individuals, especially when so many corporations are making so much more money.. Notwithstanding, some have chosen to denigrate players who sell on eBay. With this guide, you’ll be shown how to make more money on your WoW auction and dramatically reduce Blizzard’s ability to stop your auction just before you’re ready to make a sale.

The vast majority of accounts for sale on eBay carry some sort of disclaimer. Whilst they might appear to be official and legal, it’s not worth taking the time to cut and paste them. Remember what you’re actually selling is your password, sign in, and answer to your secret question. Blizzard can do nothing to stop the sale of these items since they are not bound by copyright or intellectual property laws. Blizzard would cancel the account if anyone sell this information; this is the only legal recourse it would have. It really is not realistic to think that Blizzard will be able to, or would actually do so. Their goal is profit, and they aren’t that concerned about the source of it. Don’t go with the disclaimer; it’s just worthless of time, it won’t stop your auction from being cancelled.

Now that you’ve decided to sell your account, you should first get an eBay account so that you can get access to many different key features such as Best Offer, Buy it Now, and One-Day Auction. Seven day auctions are nothing but a waste of time and effort and hence should be avoided. Your actions may just lead to a disappointing moment, forcing blizzard to close your auction in the middle of a bidding fury. The easiest way to gain access to these features, is to become verified, which costs $5. If you are unable to become verified, you will need to purchase feedback from .01 recipe or ebook sellers, and conform to a few other rules eBay imposes.

Don’t get your hopes up if you have zero feedback and your account is only a few days old. If you invest a little of your time in purchasing a feedback or a verification, you can be sure of getting a good amount rather than a fraction of it had you done otherwise. Be forewarned that what you’re really asking someone to do is to send you electronic funds based only on a few screenshots and/or unverifiable claims. Why would you risk sending your money to a freshly made ebay account? Rather than take risk, most people would like to spend more on a lesser account.

The minute your eBay account permits you to use the buy it now, one day auction and best offer parameters, you can use any one of the following combinations to max out your purchase price, thus stopping Blizzard from cancelling your auction(s). I recommend these:  three day purchase it immediately with best offer alternative. It ends up doing three things: (a) Its time limits forces a sense of urgency on the part of the buyer; (b) it sets a price bar; and (c) it permits the seller to accept offers below the buyout price. Either you’ll get an acceptable offer, a buyout, or the auction will expire, which in said case would mean that you’d have to relist your item(s). Unless you have to have the money in a rush, be patient. If you can get a few hundred more in your account it is worth relisting the auction many times.

Another strategy is to use one day auctions. Blizzard cannot cancel your auction, as the 24 hour time limit prevents it and this allows for bids to take place. Remember that the VRO request has to be filed, and that your auction should be over by that time. There is an advantage, as every 24 hours you can frequently re-list in one day auctions  Ebay’s default search feature shows auctions in the order in which they are ending, soonest first. This means your auctions will constantly be at the top of the list, and a buyer must react instantly to get your account.
