for all of you, who are no “kingslayers”: you should watch the last part of the fight to geht the whole ending. the end is only complete with the endpart of the lichking encounter! together it’s just epic..
I wonder why cant Bolivar just make all the scourge destroy themselves by jumping into lava etc and then just retire/pass away. Instead of a new lich king he only became Drama King
@JackieMagenta You don’t get it, an epic villain needs an epic ending so the storyline can close on a note that pleases the fans, allowing things to continue.
Instead we got this rushed, ten second death and a massive disappointment too a story people have wanted to see end for almost ten years now.
You fuckers have been watching too much Lord of the Rings. Not all villains die in huge implosions and send out shockwaves. I’m familiar with the lore behind this, and I don’t understand what the deal is with this ending. I liked it. Arthas, the ultimate Warcraft villain, dies a pathetic little death. It’s perfect. Call me a retard who needs to brush up on his lore, but I see nothing wrong with what they did here. Life goes on.

this is the lich king end and the ghost is the Bolvar he is dead but now him is ghost

Arthas will always be remembered as the one true Lich King :P. However I don’t think Alestrasa raised him…..this could be Deathwings work considering the look of Bolvar……would be a nice prelude to Cataclysm.

For example this is exactly as it is for the Ashbringer lore. The always kill-next kill type of progression. There isn’t anyone left alive….

well, in classic WoW he used to be the co-King of Stormwind. The real king was a little boy who now grew up. Bolvar died in the battle at the Wrathgate. Not sure but he was risen by Alestrasa
This is the worst way to end WotLK….. I can’t believe they would destroy so much of the lore just to keep things as they are….

Or how about Bolvar (fate sealed with the dragons flame) raises Deathwing from beneath Azeroth? Same way Arthas raises Sindragosa in the Wotlk opening cinematic? Makes alot more sense.
