Okay… I didn’t understand the last three sentences/phrases, but to make sure that you are getting max throughput on your download did you follow the Blizzard instructions to open the ports on your firewall for the Blizzard Downloader?
That’s usually what slows it down. Click the download status and it should tell you if you are having a firewall issue. if you click that there is a link to a help article about which ports to open to make sure your download goes as fast as it can.
Well when new patches are about to come out, every time you close wow an installer comes up and it’s supposed to download it in pieces so when the new patch comes out you won’t have to wait so long. But from experience that did nothing for me so I just closed it off. Maybe it was just my laptop being slow but it might work for others… maybe?
